Privacy Policy
App: Asslema
This Privacy Policy describes how the Asslema mobile application (the “App”) handles information when you use it. Asslema is a vocabulary app that helps you learn Tunisian Arabic.
The App does not require an account, does not show advertising, and does not include any third-party analytics or tracking.
1. Who is responsible
The App is provided by the Asslema team (the “Developer”). For any privacy-related question, you can contact info@getasslema.com.
2. Information stored on your device
The App saves your preferences and learning progress locally on your device (such as your selected languages and quiz progress). This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
3. Information sent when you play audio
When you play an audio recording, the App contacts a server operated by the Developer to fetch the corresponding sound file. To do so, the App generates and uses a random identifier so the server can prevent abuse of the audio service. This identifier is not linked to your real identity, your account, or any advertising ID.
As with any internet request, the hosting provider may keep technical access logs (including the IP address) for a limited period for security purposes.
4. What the App does not collect
- No name, email, phone number, or account credentials.
- No location, contacts, photos, files, or microphone input.
- No advertising identifier.
- No behavioural analytics or session tracking.
5. Sharing
The Developer does not sell or share the limited data described above with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data may be shared with the hosting provider strictly to operate the service, or with public authorities when required by law.
6. Children
The App is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and no account or personal information is requested from any user.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data relating to you, to object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage from your device’s settings. For any other request, please contact info@getasslema.com.
8. Security
Network requests between the App and the server are transmitted over HTTPS. No security measure is perfect, but the limited nature of the data handled by the App considerably reduces the impact of any potential incident.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App or to applicable law. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
